Input Needed on Revised VTE Prophylaxis Statement

The ASBrS Research Committee has revised and updated the Consensus Statement on Venous Thromboembolism (VTE) Prophylaxis for Patients Undergoing Breast Operations. ASBrS has revised its process, and moving forward, ASBrS will post drafts of consensus statements, resource guides, clinical pathways, and other documents for public comment before they are finalized and sent to the Board of Directors for final approval.

All comments must be submitted by December 18, 2023.

The public comment period is an integral part of the development process and is preceded by a series of reviews and revisions and may be followed by a final peer review if the document is submitted to a journal for publication.
