Breast Surgery Checklist

The Society is pleased to offer a new Breast Surgery Checklist (PDF) designed for breast surgeons to help ensure quality throughout the perioperative period. This tool is intended to facilitate surgical process management and elevate patient care. It is structured into two key segments:

1. Before Start of Surgery
2. Before Closure

Developed by a dedicated workgroup of the Society's Practice Management Committee and endorsed by the Board of Directors, its utilization is voluntary and is not intended to replace the clinical judgment of the treating team.
