The American Society of Breast Surgeons (ASBrS) offers international physicians the opportunity to apply for membership. Members receive access to a variety of online educational programs, a private members-only forum, and other exclusive member benefits. 2027 ACS/ASBrS International Scholarship

Breast cancer surgeons outside the US and Canada are invited to apply for the ACS/ASBrS International Scholarship. This $5,000 award recognizes an international surgeon committed to improving breast cancer surgical care. The scholarship enables the recipient to attend the ASBrS Annual Meeting, April 7–11, 2027, in Orlando, Florida, and participate in standards-driven, multidisciplinary training through the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) at ACS Headquarters in Chicago, Illinois. Application Deadline: September 4, 2026.

Funding Covers

• Complimentary registration for the ASBrS Annual Meeting
• One premeeting course during the ASBrS Annual Meeting
• NAPBC training at ACS Headquarters
• Travel and per diem expenses

Eligible Candidates

• Be 30–50 years old at the time of application
• Have completed medical school and surgical training
• Be an ACS Fellow/Associate Fellow or ASBrS Member/Associate Member
• Submit two letters of recommendation: one from a department chair or an ACS Fellow and one from a professional colleague
