Target Audience:
Surgeons with a special interest in the treatment of breast disease.
Objectives:
At the end of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Independently plan basic oncoplastic approaches to surgery to further improve end cosmetic results.
- Incorporate surgical techniques that allow for excellent oncological results without hindering cosmetic results and possibly improving cosmesis.
- Identify indications for immediate and early oncoplastic reconstruction of partial mastectomy defect.
Description:
This webinar is intended for breast surgeons who are interested in oncoplastic procedures but have not received any formal training, and/or do not have abundant plastic surgery support. Attendees will learn how to discuss with patients and begin utilizing some basic oncoplastic techniques successfully.
