The ASBrS Coding and Reimbursement Committee has addressed a series of member-submitted coding questions from the Society's 2020 Coding and Reimbursement Symposium, and it monitors coding questions posted to the ASBrS Forums. The advisory group members have provided FAQ responses below, which represent members' opinions based upon the current and usual practices in the field.

The responses below neither replaces information in Medicare regulations, the CPT code book, or the ICD-10 CM code book; nor does it constitute legal or accounting advice. These responses are intended only as a guide. We encourage you to post any an individualized coding or billing questions to the ASBrS Forums.
