Young Surgeons Mentorship Program

The Young Surgeons Mentorship Program matches mentors and mentees based on similar interests and areas of focus such as building a practice, work-life balance, clinical outcomes research, etc. The mentor and mentee will work together to establish a goal(s) that the mentee would like to accomplish over the 1-year mentorship program and once the goal has been established, the mentor will advise the mentee on how to achieve this goal. The requirements are listed below.

• The mentor and mentee must complete a quarterly tracking sheet
• The mentor and mentee must have at least 2 contacts throughout the 1-year program
• Face to face meeting at our 2020 annual meeting
• The mentorship program is open to ASBrS members practicing surgery in the US.
