ASBrS-ARS Breast Angiosarcoma Work Group

The American Society of Breast Surgeons and the American Radium Society (ARS) are partnering on the development of a breast angiosarcoma consensus guideline. We are seeking nominees to join the multidisciplinary work group. The deadline to apply is June 30, 2025.

• Project Commitment: About 1 Year. Work will be completed on Zoom and over email.

The document scope includes a systematic review of the literature to guide recommendations on the optimal multidisciplinary management of breast angiosarcoma, both in the de novo (primary) and radiation therapy–induced (secondary) settings. It also aims to serve as a practical reference for clinicians by addressing the incidence, clinical presentation, diagnostic workup, and management of this rare entity.
