2023 ACS/ASBrS International Scholarship

The American College of Surgeons (ACS) and The American Society of Breast Surgeons (ASBrS) are pleased to announce a shared scholarship, the 2023 ACS/ASBrS International Scholarship. This scholarship will be awarded to a surgeon specifically working in breast cancer surgery in underserved and developing areas to improve the quality of breast cancer surgical services.

The scholarship, in the amount of $5,000, provides the scholar with an opportunity to attend the ASBrS 24th Annual Meeting, April 26–30, 2023, at the John B. Hynes Memorial Convention Center, Boston, MA, and to visit the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) headquarters in Chicago, IL, to learn about the standards for a breast cancer program/database and the importance of multidisciplinary breast cancer care.
