ASBrS Names New Executive Director

Columbia, MD, August 27, 2025 — The American Society of Breast Surgeons (ASBrS) is pleased to announce that Cassandra “Cass” Isidro will serve as its new Executive Director, effective September 1, 2025.  Ms. Isidro brings over twenty years of leadership experience in association management, most recently serving as CEO at the Amputee Coalition. She offers expertise in member-focused leadership, strategic planning, governance, and driving initiatives that increase organizational impact.

As Executive Director of ASBrS, Ms. Isidro will oversee the Society’s ongoing operations and strategic planning, while working closely with the Board to advance its mission. “I am honored to step into this role and join such a dedicated team. Together, we will build on the Society’s strong foundation and explore new opportunities to empower breast surgeons and the clinical care team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.”

Founded in 1995, The American Society of Breast Surgeons empowers breast surgeons and the clinical care team to optimize patient outcomes by providing education, accelerating innovation, supporting research, and promoting advocacy. ASBrS has more than 4000 members in the United States and over 50 countries worldwide. Membership is open to general surgeons, non-surgeon physicians, allied health care professionals, residents, and medical students with a special interest in breast disease.
