The American Society of Breast Surgeons has revised and updated the resource guides on axillary management. ASBrS will post drafts of consensus statements, resource guides, clinical pathways, and other documents for public comment before they are finalized and sent to the Board of Directors for final approval.

The public comment period is an integral part of the development process and is preceded by a series of reviews and revisions and may be followed by a final peer review if the document is submitted to a journal for publication. ASBrS encourages our members and colleagues to comment. Please share this with your colleagues to help produce a more robust public response. Comment Deadline: October 21, 2025

An ASBrS Resource Guide is an expert opinion document on a topic. The guide reflects the consensus of a panel, with the approval of the Board of Directors, and is based on multiple sources from peer-reviewed literature. A systematic review of the literature is not performed.
